Hi there, I started hiking when I was in college in India. I hiked quite a bit in Northern India during semester breaks. After coming to US, I also started enjoying camping. I have been leading hikes since early 2019. Not only is hiking and camping good for the soul, it is great for socializing as well. I have made some very good friends because of hiking.
As much as I love hiking in Southern Nevada, I love hiking out of town as well. Quite likely you will see me lead an out of town hike or two
Safety is my number one priority. My hiking philosophy is NO HIKER LEFT BEHIND. Once you are accepted on my hike, it is my responsibility that everyone has a great time. My pace is to keep the group together and to help anyone who may be having a challenging time at any point.
I also like early start times.
There are plenty of hikes that have been thoroughly enjoyed more than once. Some of the memorable ones are:
- Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim (South to North; North to South)
- Bridge Mountain
- Wilson Peak
- Havasupai Falls
- Several hikes in Zion and Moab
- Eagle Mtn near Death Valley
- Manly Beacon in Death Valley
